General Questions

Getting Started With Confidence.

What areas do you serve?

Architectural Glass & Design proudly serves customers throughout South Florida. We like to say our service area includes everything south of an east-to-west line through Orlando.

From Palm Beach County and Broward County to Miami-Dade, Naples, Fort Myers, the Florida Keys, and surrounding communities, we regularly travel throughout the region for residential and commercial projects.

If you're unsure whether your project falls within our service area, simply contact us—we're always happy to discuss your location and project requirements.

How long has Architectural Glass & Design been in business?

Architectural Glass & Design is built on decades of hands-on experience.

Our founder began working in the glass industry immediately after graduating from high school alongside his father, who had already spent nearly twenty years as a professional glazer with Twin-County Glass in Hollywood, Fl. and Long Island, New York.

That family tradition of craftsmanship continues today. Every project benefits from generations of practical experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job correctly the first time.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes.

Every estimate is provided at no cost and begins with a personal visit to your home or business. During that visit we take precise measurements, discuss your ideas, answer your questions, and recommend solutions that best fit your space, style, and budget.

Because every installation is custom fabricated, accurate measurements are one of the most important steps in creating a successful finished project.

Shower Enclosures

Designed Around Your Bathroom.

Should I choose a frameless or semi-frameless shower enclosure?

Frameless shower enclosures remain the most popular choice for homeowners seeking a clean, modern appearance.

Unlike traditional framed systems, frameless enclosures use heavy tempered safety glass supported by premium hardware specifically engineered to carry the weight of the glass. The result is a more open, elegant bathroom with improved visibility, easier maintenance, and fewer areas where dirt and mildew can accumulate.

Semi-frameless systems can also be an excellent choice depending on the design, budget, and functional requirements of your bathroom. During your consultation, we'll help you determine which solution best complements your space.

How long does a typical shower enclosure installation take?

Most custom shower enclosures can be professionally installed in a single day.

For remodeling projects, we generally recommend scheduling the glass installation after all tile work, flooring, cabinetry, and other finish materials have been completed. This ensures accurate measurements and helps protect your investment during the remainder of the renovation.

What thickness of glass do you use?

Glass thickness varies depending on the size, design, and engineering requirements of each project.

Every enclosure is designed using appropriate safety glass that meets applicable building codes and installation standards.

Glass Railings

Beauty Supported By Safety.

Do you use tempered or laminated glass?

Every glass railing system begins with tempered safety glass.

Depending on the project, location, engineering requirements, and local building codes, laminated safety glass may also be recommended or required. We carefully evaluate every installation to ensure the finished system provides both exceptional appearance and long-term safety.

Will my installation meet building code requirements?

Absolutely.

Architectural Glass & Design is fully licensed and insured to perform both residential and commercial glazing work.

Every project is designed, fabricated, and installed in accordance with applicable building codes and accepted industry standards. Our commitment to quality means every installation receives the same level of care regardless of its size or complexity.

Builders, Architects & Custom Fabrication

Experience That Supports Exceptional Projects.

Do you work with architects and builders?

Yes.

Over the years we've built long-standing relationships with architects, builders, contractors, designers, and property managers throughout South Florida. Many of these professional relationships span decades and are built on reliability, communication, and consistently delivering quality craftsmanship.

Whether we're assisting with a single custom installation or participating in a large commercial project, we work closely with every member of the project team to achieve the desired result.
